Xenophobia: Spock, Bones, Kirk.

Hi -- I know this will sound vague, but I found (and lost) a fic a few weeks ago.

 

I think it was Spock's point of view, 3rd person, and there was a lengthy peice on how Spock viewed McCoy as xenophobic (needle in a haystack, I know), and how that would potentially put them at risk on diplomatic missions. Spock talked to Kirk about it, for that reason only and not because he was taking offense to the slurs, and I remember that Kirk's parting line was something along the lines of, "If you've been offended, I'm sorry," to paraphrase really roughly. If it helps, I'm sure it was reboot!continuity.

Looking for an S/U fic (not found)

 Spock and Uhura fight over Spock being jealous (I think). When he questions her about her fidelity, pissed off, she doesn't answer so he's left to assume. There is one scene where to get back at him, she sticks his toothbrush "up there" so that he will pick up her scent when he used it. She did some other stuff but I can't think of it. Kirk seeing all of this calls them down for a private meeting and plays mediator. Happy ending and I think smut. Somewhere in the story, Uhura is wearing red panties because red is Spock's favorite color. McCoy comes to cheer her up and ends up staying the night. Spock knocks on her door and there he is, or maybe he sees him leaving. This just fuels his assumptions. When they get back together and he asks about the panties, she mentioned something about wearing red until they were back together. For the 09 movie I believe.
