Hi,

1) I'm looking for a fic where Jim is losing a battle in space, so he commands the crew to evacuate the ship but stays to protect them while they escape

it was in a situation like his father, and he was remembering him and thinking that he knows now how his dad felt.

and I think it was jim/spock and spock didn't want to leave but he left and in the end jim didn't die?

It's driving me crazy until I find it, please help *-*

Okay, I know I saw this fic somewhere but now I can't find it. 

Here's what I remember:

-AU, Kirk/Spock
-Vulcans and the Federation were at war.  But finally make peace with each other. 
-Apparently in order for the treaty to be valid according to Vulcan tradition each side picks a rep. and they sleep together.
-Kirk and Spock are chosen they have never met before this.
-Kirk is super-nervous as he has never been with a guy before.  Spock is very patient and gentle about the whole thing.  They end up bonding and it is all very sweet.

I could be wrong about the different details but I think I have the gist of it right.  Please, please, please help me this is driving me crazy!
