Khan at Tarsus IV? (Reboot)

Just curious if there's any fic out there where Khan was present at the tragedy of Tarsus IV when Jim Kirk was there. It doesn't have to be slash, but if it is I don't care (although that would be more than a little creepy, since Jim was a young teenager then). Basically, I'm looking for fic where maybe Marcus or whoever found Khan earlier in the Reboot, and somehow he winds up on Tarsus IV (because he was sent there to stop Kodos or oversee the rescue or whatever), eventually runs into Jim who's traumatised at this point, from the recent events as well as his abusive and/or neglectful family, and there's bonding and hurt/comfort. I want a Khan who's disgusted by Kodos really, because I see the latter as a pale imitation of what Khan was.

Or, if no such fic exists, how about a canon!Reboot Khan who finds out about what Jim survived on Tarsus IV and is pissed off, empathetic or protective? Slash and non-slash.

Linguistics conference?

I remember a fic where Jim takes Nyota to a linguistics or similar conference as a way to make something up to her. I think there's an explosion and he gets hurt, possibly saving her or someone else's life? I can't remember what if any pairings there were, but I think the fic had a big genius!kirk theme.

That familiar to anyone?
