Couple of tos-searches

Hi.
I've read a couple of fics recently about canon events from outsiders pov and I wonder if someone can recommend more stories like this. Either how outsiders-aliens-crewmembers see Kirk and his team or K/S seen from outsiders pov (and if this outsider happens to be Vulcan...). Strictly TOS or TOS movies as I dislike reboot with a passion :)

My second search is Kirk in Movie-era. Him as an Admiral or teaching at Academy. I'd prefer K/S but gen is fine too.

And are there any fics about Finnegan set in TOS years? I'd love a story where he meets Kirk and Kirk is a captain and hero and Finnegan... Needs his help maybe? XD I don't believe no one ever wrote something like this.

I am almost certain that it was on daltonator.net, but I havent been able to find it. I do know that it was in txt format.

It was set after the Dominion War and consisted of a series of messages, mostly between Martok and the Federation President, concerning the activities of a new terrorist group led by Garak. I think it was written as a 9/11 analogy as it showed a similar progression of events leading up to and including a 9/11 equivalent event, culmimating in Martok finally telling the Federation to piss off.
