So in the fic Jim and Spock are having lunch (I think) and Jim asks Spock about his day or experiment or something. I know it had something to do with grains or making grains more resistant. Spock gives a short answer and then says something along the lines of 'I'm sure it wouldn't interest you' Basically thinking he's too stupid to understand.

Jim gets mad but i cant remember if he just leaves or says something back. But later Spock comes to his room because he finds a paper that Jim wrote talking about the subject matter and is all like 'Why did yoy not inform me?' And jim gets mad because its not his fault Spock just assumes hes stupid or something.

Also, I'm not sure if Tarsus was specifically talked abiut or just something we as readers new from subtext.

Hopefully someone remembers this. :]

Resurrection. Amanda is alive again. There are at least two stories that deal with this. They both link back to Jim being able to make a choice after aliens do something regrettable to him. The one I found earlier on the site references Tarsus, and Amanda only shows up briefly at the end.

The story I am remembering has Kirk mentioning that he couldn't really want for George to be alive again, it would be too selfish and screw up too much. Instead he wished for Amanda, and vulcan to be back. I don't know if he got vulcan back. They did get Amanda back, and she has several conversations with everyone, and Sarek rushes to meet the ship shocked when his bond with his wife reappears.

Please, please does anyone know what this fic is? It is driving me crazy.

Thanks for looking. :D
