Fatherly Pike

Hi All, I am looking for a specific story where Pike comms Winona Kirk to inform her that Jim has joined Starfleet, and she acts a total bitch. Pike gets angry, and I think takes over as Jim's next of kin. Anyone, Please?

Also, I have a craving for any fatherly Pike stories. No OC's please, but slash is fine, except for Pike/Spock, Pike/McCoy, Pike/Jim, or Pike/Chekov pairings.

Have you tried jademac's Haven? It has a "what if Pike found a young Jim on Tarsus" type premise. It's on ff.net, but the first few parts are on her LJ, here:
