 I'm looking for a fic,

It's a pre-slash(Very pre-slash) Spock/McCoy TOS fic that's set on the day when McCoy becomes CMO. The old one is retiring to spend more time with his family, and they need a new one. Kirk and Spock are waiting in the transporter room, and when Spock and McCoy meet they already off the bat are at each other. And later on in the fic Kirk muses about how he's never seen Spock react so qiockly or so strongly on first meeting someone, and that he's never seen McCoy react like that. McCoy and Spock have their own monologue on what they think of the other so far and why they reacted the way they did.

I remember following a link for this story through the Spock/McCoyote's Den (http://spockmccoyote.tripod.com/), but I can't seem to find it now. It's a short fic, and Spock comments that McCoy looks old for his age, right? You could try looking through the fic descriptions, as time consuming as that could be.

If you like first-time meetings between TOS Spock and McCoy where there is immediate chemistry and snark, Aw Hell (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2032433/1/) by Nemo the Everbeing was really good, although it is longer and has more plot than the story you're looking for.
