Hi

I got into this fandom because of the new movie and now I'm looking for a couple of things hope you can help.

Basically I'm looking for any good kirk-centered, kirk/Spock, Kirk/McCoy, zine or book that can be downloaded. I manage to find the prize (lost the link, but I did manage to safe the file) and I'm still looking for the price by Syn Ferguson. They can be gen or slash and I prefer a hurt, or bottom, or sub Kirk but right now I'll take anything.

Fics are also welcome

Thanks

I've been in this fandom (lurking under other names) for quite a while and I remember when zines were the only way to go. Thus, I have raided the four billion links I have lying around to see what I could find.

We'll start with Syn's website. It's not as complete as it could be anymore, but still, good stuff. Original Syn's Website (http://www.seacouver.slashcity.net/syn/index.html)

And then move on to The Scary Tales and Neutral Zines links (http://www.kardasi.com/SBS/ST-NZ/archives.htm) I'm not sure how many of these still work.

Next we go to /The Side-by-Side online zine (http://www.kardasi.com/index1.htm) which isn't downloadable (I don't think) but still good stuff and LOTS of stories.

Then we have Jenna Hilary Sinclair's work over at Beyond Dreams Press (http://www.beyonddreamspress.com/index2.htm) whic, again, totally rocks.

Next up is Zines from everywhere. (http://www.asidozines.com/)

And last, but certainly not least a hell of a lot of zine links (http://www.kardasi.com/KSreview/index.htm) under the EDITOR LINKS button in the sidebar. Not all of them are still extant, but they're worth sorting through.

Best of luck!

I didn't know you were into StarTrek, as well. Cool. *waves*

Hi Ada!
I was mostly running under a different name and not really writing much at that point in my life, but yup. I've been in Trek fandom since I've had a computer that my parents didn't monitor. I think my Dad might have been a little weirded out. And he definitely would have invoked the "no porn in my house, young lady" rule. *laughs*
Good to see you!

Ah. I watched Star Trek a long time ago, but way before I would ever have thought about fanfiction, or slash, or anything. Read the books, though. Apparently I was a gen girl at that point. lol

Oh the books were pure gold. I read all of my mother's and my only regret is that when I moved out after college she wouldn't let me take them with me . . . apparently she liked reading them too. When she could pry them from my clutching fingers.

lolol Your poor mom. Unfortunately, I don't think I have them anymore, and don't really remember much about them. Well, anything past the one time I was reading one in my school's lounge, cackling like an idiot while people looked at me funny. *shrugs*

Half Price Books. I got ten of my favorites for $20. Oh how I love it. But then, I am a complete addict when it comes to the written word.

Oh, no kidding. I have so many books, it's not funny.

Okay, so I heart my friends SO MUCH and I totally now have every TOS book ever written as a .doc file. You want them?
