Spock, Kirk, orphan Vulcan

 Hi,

I misplaced this fic. Kirk and spock rescue a ship where one of the vulcan kids ( a boy) has low control n his emotions. Kirk and Spock take care of him and ultimately Spock adopts him when no one on New Vulcan wants to adopt him.

Kirk is great with the kid in tis fic and there is a scene where the kid id introduced to ice cream and he also has his own chair on the bridge.

Any help would be appreciated.
