H/C with Kirk and McCoy

The story I'm thinking about starts at the academy with McCoy walking in on a Kirk sucking his thumb/about to when McCoy walks in after the Kobayashi Maru/aniversary of father. I think it might be a 5x +1. The story goes into the Narada incident with McCoy helping comfort him while telling Jim that it's okay to suck his thumb.
