I have a few requests.

1) Old Movies fics. Emphasis on McCoy and his relationships with Spock and Kirk. Can be gen or slash. Specifically interested in one's based during or after Search for Spock, the Voyage Home (because there was a distinct lack of McCoy in that film), and the Undiscovered Country. fics based on the other films welcome and much appreciated also.

2)Hurt McCoy, I'm not talking torture or rape (but I will take what I can get), more like him being hurt by Jim taking Spocks side in a personal arguement; some higher up trying to remove him from his posting; Someone targetting him because he is the percieved weak link, or they just don't like him, or maye he's being sexually harassed by one of the alien diplomats, and of course he's been told to keep a low profile given his direct and outspoken nature so as not to insult anyone onboard and tries to hide the signs (maybe the diplomat gets too grabby and leaves bruises or something). TOS, and Reboot welcome.

3) Exhausted McCoy. Maybe he's been on shift 30hrs working on something really important and then ends up having to work longer, be it one of the brass refusing to believe he has been working long enough, or an emergancy has come up, whatever really, so long as there is a lot of exhausted McCoy going around.

4)Kidnap fics. Why is it I can't find kidnap fics (I hate internet searches sometimes). Any kidnap is fine, though for some reason I'm fascinated with the idea of McCoy being taken by a captain on another ship, maybe a slave ship, or one where the crew are just really sadistic and Kirk and Spock and everyone come riding to his rescue.

5) Something where McCoy takes control! In TOS Scotty was next in line to command after Kirk and Spock, but are there any fics where it's McCoy by himself who has to somehow save the day. Or maybe I'm just looking for fic where he does something unexpected (like fixes the transporter, or pilots the ship) and does it well! Where he leads a rescue operation, or escapes the angry natives by himself or something.

6) (last one promise) Aviaphobia, it seemed like it was supposed to be a big thing in the film and then it fizzled, he didn't even seem nervous going to the enterprise, so fics about that, and his fear of the transporters I keep hearing about (but have yet to find cannon evidence... well, I do have a lot of episodes still to watch)

                                              May I just request only happy endings, and longer fics if possible and NO Mirror!verse fics please (unless it references what happened in the episode). I thank you for your kindness.

i think 1 -4 are adequately covered by the "Under the Sun" Series by T'thrill, though it's proving blasted hard to find the full thing, all i can get you is a link to the first part. it follows the crew through 4? of the six movies, and focuses on K/S/M

holy crap is that series depressing!

I mean, it's brillent, but I spent most of my time with a lump in my throat, especially in the last 3 or 4 stories. And it's not finished! I mean seriously... I need my happy ending fix and there just isn't one!

Wow... haven't felt this moved by a series of fics to have spent all day reading it in a long long time. I really appreciate the links, and does anyone know if there are continuations so I can get my happy ending. (I know the films are technically happy ending enough, but I crave a proper resolution to the behind the scenes plot the author has created!)

For something slightly different, try KV Wylie's The Trust of a Bonding (http://liquidfic.net/trustofabonding.html). It has McCoy paired with a male vulcan that isn't Spock, but don't let that frighten you. Lots of action, and McCoy being appreciated for being a medical genious. Long too (and happy ending).

I don't know if you are still looking for responses, and I'm not sure this is appropriate. However, since not all reboot people were into Old Trek, I'm going to go ahead anyway.
One of the pro-novels, "Doctor's Orders" by Diane Duane, has almost the exact McCoy in command scenario you described, which seems rare in fanfic. Actually, she writes pretty good McCoy overall.
And I will second the rec for The Trust of A Bonding.
