startrekficfinder Two requests for my voracious appetite of ST fic! All having to do with the Abrahms-verse for once...
Request 1. Are there any fics out there where it turns out that either:
a. The Abrahms-verse is ACTUALLY the MIRROR! universe, and Spock Prime realizes it
OR
b. That Spock Prime is actually MIRROR! Spock and he was TRYING to destroy romulus? <-- I feel like I've DEFINITELY read one like this, where this spock ends up taking Kirk into sexual slavery and holding back the knowledge that he is actually a world class bastard, but eventually kirk finds out aaaand... something ensues. I'm pretty sure it wasn't hijinks... I'm pretty sure it was angst....
Request 2 - There is a fic out there, that at some point has McCoy explaining Spock's emotional make up to Kirk. He compares vulcan emotions to a pipe with incredible pressure behind it, and for vulcans either the pipe stays shut off, or there will be a crazy flood that destroys everything. Humans, on the other hand have a faucet that they keep on, but they have a bucket that allows them to catch any overflow of emotion. Spock, being half human and half vulcan, his faucet isn't as wild as a full vulcans, but his bucket is a tiny dented kicked in thing that won't catch anything. Better for spock to just shut the faucet off.
^ Ok, this SOUNDS crazy, but i swear it was in a fic I read on ff.net. I think it may have been Atlas... but I doubt it, since that's kind of almost exclusively from spock's POV...
