Looking for theme...

Hey all,

This is the first time I've used this ficFind....but I've been lurking for a few weeks....hope I can help someone oneday.

I'm looking for a specific ...theme...I guess.

There are quite a few stories out there in which, Jim, as the captain, jumps to one of, or all of, his crews defense, whether this be  for a specific issue or a more general matter. (I wouldn't say no to one of this type either. He he.)
 
What I'm actually looking for is the opposite.

Fic, either slash or gen (I'm not too picky) in which, one of, or all Jim's crew (Probably the command crew specifically) jumps to his defense, either in his presence or behind the scenes, for some reason.
Basically I'm looking for the others standing up for and protecting their captain.

Can be movie  or TV  series based....

Anything you can dig out of th recess of your mind that fits the bill would be great....

There are fortunately many fanfics that fit this trope, which I myself love just as much as the "the crew as family" one.
