Hello,

I'm looking for some awesome fics with Pike and Kirk. :) It can be slash but I'm more in search of some nice gen stories with Pike acting as the beautiful father figure he is.

I'm grateful for every little help I can get!

There's the "Western Skies" (http://anruiukimi.livejournal.com/tag/fanfiction%20related)series by anruiukimi , which is seriously amazing. It's AU, though more like AR, since events pan out similar to the movie. It's an epic read.

The basic premise that the first one-shot establishes is that Kirk isn't your typical human and Winona freaks out in a bad way. Pike comes to the rescue and adopts Kirk. It'll really pull on your heart strings. I should warn you that it's a very slow building Kirk/McCoy. I mean very, very slow. So even if Kirk/McCoy isn't your cup of tea, you can still enjoy a lot of the series without worrying. McCoy isn't even in the series until the later installments, and even then it's more about a budding friendship between Kirk and McCoy than a romance, but it's getting there. The focus of the first few installments is between Kirk and Pike. I don't want to ramble too much and give anything away, but it's hard not to when I love this series so much. Pike and Kirk are so friggin' loveable as father and son. There's some side coupling too, unofficial and more like UST between Pike and Archer.

Tangled Destinies by Keira Marcos has a great Pike and Kirk father and son relationship. The main pairing is Spock/Kirk, it's a wip but it's so worth waiting for the posts. Pike and Kirk share a great father/son bond in the story. If you haven't read it yet, it's a must! :)

Hm, do any of these fit your request? Because some don't have Pike/Kirk interaction, but are based around on the fact that Pike is a mentor/father-figure to Kirk.
