I'm looking for fics where Pike Mentors Jim.  It can be in a fatherly way or not.  Also any Fics out there where Pike adopts Jim is good too.

And that great AU Kirk/Spock where Kirk is a marine biologist and Pike is a senator who adopts him as a kid - wonderful read but I'm can't remember who wrote it. Can anyone else help?
