Help please?

A friend and I was talking about a ST fic in which Spock is the Captain instead of Jim, but then we got a bit confused: there might be more than one and I think we were talking about different ones!
The one I got in mind was a story of three parallel universe -- other than the STXI!verse, the other two were Spock!Captaincy and Space!pirates!... my friend however was sure that there was an AU -- just one universe, not three -- in which Spock is the Captain and Jim is his first. We were really happy to hear that we got different fics in mind because that means we got to read a nice new fic but then we found out that we didn't have them = =||| So please could somebody help? You'd be helping two people at once and get twice as much gratitude and kisses and hugs~!!!

PS: would not say no to Spock!Captain with Jim!First in any setting! XI, TOS, AU -- keep'em coming please!

I am sure she meant this one, with a prequel about AU Spock and Jim playing chess -- I remember the chess-match prequel but somehow this sequel manage to slip through my fingers XDD
