Jim/Spock bonded & Spock Prime plays a role

I read this story a long time ago but of course for some illogical reasons, forgot to bookmark or even remember the title. Now I'm begging all the awesome fellow trekkers to help me find the story. The details left in my head are quite vague.

1. I remember that they picked up Amb.Spock for a trip to New Vulcan (may be) and then the Amb. immediately found out that they had already bonded because they communicated mentally through the space of the ship and Spock was made aware of the situation and rang Kirk shipwide even before Kirk told him the story. I think it involved a threat from Spock Prime warned Kirk about an ambassador that gonna pass out or be killed at that dinner (the original series plot line from his timeline). Then in the end of the fic (maybe) Spock Prime again warned Kirk of the man named Khan :D

2. The ship was nearly exploded and the crews were ordered to evacuate (Captain's Order, folks), but our intrepid hero chose to stay to defend the pod like his father did all those years ago. All officers were ready to leave the bridge but when Spock glanced back and saw Kirk stayed, he responded with an absolute NO on leaving, returned to his post, which prompted everyone senior officers to stay. The two of them then escaped in a lifepod on course to Neptune. Of course they escaped. Happy ending :D
