  I was wondering if there are any really good sick!kirk fics out there. I'm not talking about a sniffly cold, I mean life threatining, debilitating illnesses. I don't mind death fic or if slash or gen. Whatever. Thanks in advance!

I just finished rereading a wonderful series that had something of what you are looking for. It is the Donne-verse series (http://tobinfic.livejournal.com/15212.html) by fringedweller. The link takes you to the last of the series, where the links for the other stories in the series are. The Fever is the story where Jim becomes deathly ill, but I recommend reading the whole series from start to finish because it is a great series.

Another one is Venom (http://gone-ashore.livejournal.com/34770.html) by gone_ashore where Jim gets bitten by a snake on an away mission.
