Quintissential star trek fics

Although I've watched the show since childhood, I've only recently gotten into the fandom. So can someone link me those epic fics (reboot, TOS,
slash, gen (preferably no het)) that are Kirk-centric? Basically I'm looking for those fics taht ARE classic, or that will be classics in the future.

I second the rec for 'Home'. I seriously fell in love with Kirk/Spock by reading that fic, but it's WIP, just to warn you.

I would also love to steer you towards 'You'll Get There in the End (It Just Takes Awhile' by Seperis. Found here: http://seperis.livejournal.com/741871.html#cutid1

Anyway, it's an amazing story. Seperis usually produces awesome stories in whatever fandom she writes in.
