[identity profile] xiaou-xijiang.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] startrekficfinder
I just read a horrific fic that was nothing short of a masterpiece by Debbie Cummins. It was brilliant, but it just about broke my heart. I've tried chocolate to drown out the feeling that the world is seriously f--ked up. It didn't work. Now I'm in a funk and I have no more chocolate chip cookies.

Anyone can recommend me some fluff-tastic, Kirk/Spock set in TOS? Maybe some of the older (classic?) fics? I'm not looking for anything too specific, just something with a happy ending that can knock me out of this funk due to an awesome-but-terribly-traumatic blow to my OTP. Maybe someone has the hard-to-find series "Sharing the Sunlight" by Jenna Hiliary Sinclair. I've read "Sharlng the Sunlight" but the other two novels ("Promises to Keep" and "In the Shade") are what I can't find.

Someone, help, because that box of double stuffed oreos in my pantry is in danger of suffering the same fate as my Chips Ahoy. =(

Do it for the oroes, if not for me. Save them, they've done nothing wrong.

First time posting, If I did something wrong, please let me know! (T^T)

I feel your pain- I read Absolute Horizon and basically felt like part of me had died (not to boo it it was after all incredible writing). Consequently I have sworn off angst- h/c is OK but no angst.

Need a satisfying fix that is long? Read Evolving Toward Forever by Elise Madrid.

I don't know if I'm too late to the party, but I don't know how anyone could read 'Kirk and Spock go Ice Fishing' and not end up all smiles.

It's not an immediate fix but Jenna Sinclair is in the process of putting the whole of her "Sharing the Sunlight" series up on the Kirk/Spock archive.

So far she's put up the first 8 stories, including "Sharing the Sunlight" and 7 shorter ones (some novellas, some really short) and is part way through "Promises to Keep". The last week (since she gave up on plans to edit first) she's been updating every day. Here:
