Kirk/Spock Angst - Found

I'm looking for a K/S fic where Kirk had to make the decision to give up Spock's telepathy or his love for his bondmate in order to save his life. He chooses the love. The fallout isn't pretty. There is a lot of angst with Spock feeling guilty that he couldn't feel anything for Kirk anymore and Kirk just being excruciatingly miserable. The fic is a WIP (or was one when I last read it).
