I'm not entirely sure how to word this, but ah-- I'm looking for something long and plot-based, more reminiscent of the novels than of most relationship-based fanfiction.

TOS or DS9, and I'm a sucker for fics centred around secondary characters. Gen is preferable, but I'm find with romance as long as it isn't overbearing.

And I'm not certain how to tag this, so I'll leave it untagged for now.

If you like Dr. Bashir, I'd recommend Gabrielle Lawson's stories. Gen, long, plotty. "Oswiecim" is her longest and has lots of great reviews, and I really liked "First Consideration" and "Healer."
