Looking for fic

Can someone help me find a specific TOS story? I don't remember a whole lot, but what I do remember is that Kirk retired and was living in a cabin, with his wife or girlfriend I think. Spock comes to visit him from time to time and always tried to persuade him to come back to Starfleet. Also, I think that the woman that Kirk lived with didn't like Spock much. I don't remember the ending, but I remember that Kirk was always conflicted. I don't think there was any relationship between Kirk and Spock, but the woman did kinda suspect that they did care for each other a lot more than they wanted to admit.

Does that sound too vague or does anyone think it  familiar enough?
