Okay, so I have one specific K/S fic I'm looking for that I could have sworn I had saved but apparently hadn't, as well as some recs ^^

The Specific fic: a K/S story where Kirk was some kind of Vulcan god/deity and Spock was a priest for him. Kirk decides to make Spock his consort or something and Spock's reaction to Kirk is quite amusing, especially when finding out that apparently the things that they had been teaching/following for so long had apparently been wrong. And then there's smexing, of course.

Sound familiar to anyone?

And for Recs: Any protective!crew, friendship!crew fics that you can rec me? Like where something happens/is happening/will happen to Kirk and the crew jumps to his defense/defends him or their camaraderie shines through in adversity, etc. Anyone have any good fics something along those lines? No pairing is okay, but if there is one I prefer K/S but I'll read any pairing as long as the plot fits the above.

So can anyone help me out please?

Your results may vary. One fic that has amazing interaction between the crew is called Atlas by Angelbaby1 (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5344838/1/Atlas). It's a must-read fanfic, and the pairing is K/S. Warning, it is quite long (in the best way), and has areas of intense angst/hurt/comfort at times, but it ends very well. This is an amazing fic, and just about everything by this author is amazing, but there's a scene in the 6th part(at least I think it's the 6th part, I know it's toward the end) where the crew is blatantly protective of kirk against asshole!Gary Mitchell. So Wise We Grow. (http://captanddeastar.livejournal.com/9048.html) This is a fic where Kirk volunteers to be the 2nd parent to Spock's psuedo-kid. There's fluff and angst and H/C and UST and a happy ending after kirk gives him self up to protect someone, and the crew goes back for him. Never too late (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5678632/1/Never_Too_Late) Five times Spock thought no one was looking, and one time he knew he was caught." De-aged/kid!fic in which Kirk is 4 years old. This is so adorable it will rot your teeth. Also, What we remember forever (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5817017/1/What_We_Remember_Forever), which is moments/snapshots of everyone's perspective of kid!kirk. Things the crew can no longer do. (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5557031/2/Things_the_Crew_Can_No_Longer_Do) This has plenty of intercrew interaction though it doesn't focus on protectiveness. Instead it's mostly humor. the format's more comment-on-a-list than narration, and the mental images it provides are hilarious. Sestina (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5753075/1/Sestina). It's a WIP that promises to be quite long. The pairings are K/S, Uhura/Bones, and Chekov/Sulu, and there is a story by the same author that has the C/S parallel story (which is also kind of a prequel).
