Fic Search Kid!Jim

 Hi I'm looking for a specific story.  It was about Tarsus IV where Pike was on the ship that rescued the Survivors and Jim was there as the leader of his group of kids, I remember one part was where they were in a meeting with the admirals and they didn't believe that a 'kid' could have anything useful. they doubted he was the leader and Jim was just like "well if that's what you think I'll leave" and the admirals called him back.

Anyone know which story this is? I've searched practically everywhere I could think of.
