K/S forced to leave Starfleet

Hi! I'm looking for a specific fic where Kirk and Spock were forced to leave Starfleet because they were in a relationship together and it was against the regs. They ended up serving on a Vulcan science (?) vessel. I have a vague memory that Kirk realized/was asked/was told? that the other vulcans on board expected/tolerated display of affection from bonded pairs, which was welcome news to Kirk. I believe that our heroes remained serving on board the Vulcan vessel at the end of the story, and possibly even recruited some of their old Enterprise crew.
