Hey guys,
Me again, I have this story that I read ages ago rattling in the back of my head, but I can't find it for the life of me. All I remember is that it's about Bones and Jim's relationship(not sure if it's slash or not), in a sort of character study/introspective kind of way-it might be a five plus one story, also not sure- and near the end Jim somehow works it so Bones can see Joanna for the first time in years. I vividly remember a scene where Bones is in a corridor, possibly after the Enterprise returns from the Nero incident, and his little girl is suddenly there, yelling daddy, and his love for Jim multiplies or something?

I remember a story (I'm still trying to find it) where I think Jim was trying to "court" Bones but not being very clear about it, and thus Bones was completely missing what Jim was doing. For instance, at one point, he throws out a bottle of wine that Jim leaves for him (without knowing it was Jim who left or why he did because Jim didn't tell him). Near the end Jim gets Bones a visit from Joanna and something like what you described happens. Does that sound at all familiar?
