Cats and dogs and Vulcan scientists

Hey all! I've lost a fic and all I can remember is a small part. There was a mention of an Earth-Vulcan cultural exhibit exchange where Vulcan was sent all varieties of cats and dogs. The part that stood out was the Vulcans arguing about how the varied animals couldn't be related while cuddling puppies. Please help! I generally read K/S with a few gen thrown in so it's probably one of those two categories. Mods - sorry I can't access The tags on my iPad! I'll fix it once I get home!
