Escape Pod fic?

Okay so, I have a request a few weeks ago for a fic and it ended up leading to me remembering another fic that I want to re-read again but can barely remember anything about D:

I honestly can only remember a few things so this is going to be really, really vague and I'm sorry about that but I hope someone can help me anyway >.<

What I remember is that Kirk and Spock, for some reason, were stuck in an escape pod.I think something had happened to the Enterprise, but I know that the rest of the crew was safe, I think on another ship (or maybe the other escape pods?), and Kirk and Spock ended up escaping in the escape pod but couldn't be picked up or something for some reason. I think they were in there for like, a week or something. I know that Kirk and Spock get closer during this time, and I think they get together while in there as well. I can't remember but I think Spock and Uhura were still together at the time as well and Spock was going to break up/inform Uhura of the change once they all met up again. Something like that >.> I'm pretty sure the Enterprise ended up destroyed or unlivable or something and ended up having to undergo a lot of repairs on Earth after being hauled home. I think, I honestly can't remember what happened to the Enterprise D:

I know it's kinda really vague, I believe it was a chapter story, complete I think, and not very long.

If anyone could please help me find this fic I would be so grateful!
