Any stories where Kirk is empathic--openly or hides it. Just anything. I totally adore "Tangled Destinies" and...yeah... Reboot preferred, but TOS is great too. I'm also all for K/S, but again, other pairings are equally acceptable.

Anchor Me by synia09: Kirk is part Betazoid, he doesn't advertise it because it doesn't define him, but after feeling the terror and the psychic scream from the destruction of Vulcan he starts to break down. He can't block anything anymore and it almost kills him. Spock intervenes.
