gen crew w/ epic action

Perhaps one of you will remember a fanfic I read a few months ago?

- multi chapter fic
- different p.o.v. of side characters observing main characters
- one chapter that stands out in my mind features the voice of Cupcake/Giotto and crew trying to rescue Spock from a crazy plant computer that he'd tried to interface with
- another is set in a diplomatic banquet with a new sponge/amoeba species gone horribly wrong. the crew end up featuring as food items, Uhura and Spock run for their lives and Sulu fights with his ceremonial sword

ringing any bells? I would be ever so grateful for any suggestions. If you don't recall that particular story then any gen adventure fanfic would be lovely.
