Post "The Empath"

I'm looking for a fic that takes place directly after the TOS episode "The Empath". Christine can always tell who's been injured by how Kirk, Spock, and Bones stand in relation to each other. If Kirk is walking between Spock and Bones then she knows he's the one who needs attention. Kirk spends time in the decompression chamber and Bones has complications. Chapel chews Kirk out for... something. Possibly running off before his treatment is complete because he's worried about Bones.
