Seeking Kirk/McCoy soulmates/reincarnation type fic

Hi there! I'm looking for a fic which had Kirk and McCoy reincarnated as various lifeforms. I can't remember everything they were, apart from one which was trees. It was written in the style of a "five times" fic I believe, and possibly originated on the old st_xi_kink meme.
I'm sorry I don't have more information, but I'd love to find this story again if it's still out there so any help/links will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. :)

This is the original kink meme entry, I have a vague memory that maybe one of the later stories was finished on the author's lj but I'm afraid I don't remember who or where. Hope this helps a little.
