X-Men crossover

I'm looking for a Spock/Kirk where Jim is a descendant of Rogue of the X-Men and he had her powers. I remember Spock and Kirk kissing through plastic and by the end McCoy had created a cure. Also, fairly certain is was set during ST XI. Anyone know what I'm on about? Thanks for the help.

you know i've looked for about half an hour and i just can't find waldo. the worst part is i believe i know what story you're talking about. for more specific searches for others to help out, was Jim a precog (sees the future)and chapel the one that fazes through things like the examination table that freaks out mccoy? the whole enterprise is the first all mutant ship i believe (if i have the story right)

i'll keep looking! just thought i'd put some details up for some other searchers to help :)

No, I think Jim was the only mutant and he had Rogue's power. Absorption I suppose you could call it. He couldn't have skin to skin contact with anyone on the ship and that was why he was hesitant to start a relationship with Spock. Thanks for trying =D

You are correct I remember reading this one. His X gene was activated by the radiation at his birth. All others had been artificially suppressed generations ago.
I have not had any luck locating but will keep looking.
