Kirk and Friends Share a House Together On Earth

Hey everyone. I don't remember much of this fic unfortunately, and it has stuck with me for months but I've been unable to locate it.

The most I remember about this fic is that Kirk considered his main crew to be family, so much so that when he inherits the old farmhouse he converts it into a home for the whole crew (I'm pretty sure that he puts in a botany lab for Sulu)

I do believe that there had been some sort of assault done to Jim and that the crew helps him sort through his pain.

I believe you're thinking of monstrousreg 's "Measure of Men (http://monstrousreg.livejournal.com/634.html)" (Chapter 6 has the house discussion) and its sequel "Simple Feeling (http://monstrousreg.livejournal.com/2174.html)" (which takes place in the house).

If you're not, I would still strongly recommend them both!!
