Hey guys... Does anyone know of a fic where the Enterprise was doing first contact with alien that have does not speak but they communicate with sign language and somehow Jim learn that language by watching comedies??

That us all I can remember. Also Jim is the only person aboard the Enterprise that succeeds in learning the language.

Oh and Uhura is all OMG WTH about that...

PS: LOL I just remembered something else about this fic, if I am not mistaken the alien eventually kidnapped Jim + crew and sorta experimented on them and during the experiment Jim has an allergic reaction and the aliens not knowing how to deal with that, damaged Jim's vocal chords.
