I need some help, please, with a very specific fic/series. There are only two stories, and it's really the second one I love. It's Kirk/Spock, 2009, established in the first fic with Spock going into Pon Farr or his mind deciding it needs Kirk, or something like that. We all know the trope, though it is well done. The second story is a lot of fun. It takes place months later with the two as an established couple. Kirk has a young Vulcan female he's teaching or something like that; she's awesome. He says she hates him, but she goes along with him teaching her to be a pirate--when he needs to do some black-ops spying stuff. There's lots of politics going on in the plot, with the most obvious problem being that the non-Vulcan husbands/wives of Vulcans are quietly losing their minds and going into comas, something to do with the mind-links. Later, Kirk and his minion get kidnapped by Romulans but stage an uprising and take over the ship and stop a war. In the end, she blackmails the high council about keeping mum...Yeah, this was at least 20,000 words in two chapters. And it's possible I'm mixing up two, but I don't think so. Admittedly, my favorite part was Kirk interacting with his minion. She thinks he's insane but awesome. It might have been on Squidge or the Kirk/Spock fic site.

Oh! I almost forgot another I wanted to find! A war between the Vulcans and humans has just ended, and now there are going to be political marriages. It's on Vulcan, and Kirk agrees so that he'll get his own starship (with his Vulcan mate as SIC.) He goes for the matchmaking and falls in love with Spock-through chess-fairly quickly, but because they argued in front of the matchmakers, he's paired with this kid. Spock keeps blowing Kirk off because he thinks he has a fatal illness, but Kirk figures out that he's really being poisoned.

I had these saved, but a few months ago my old laptop crashed. I've caught up with most SGA and DS fics, but I got distracted by Losers and Avengers, so I hadn't gotten to find these two yet.
