Spock as hermaphrodite

I'm not sure if I dreamt this fic, but I remember s scene where Spock is looking at himself in a mirror thinking how his parents chose to have him 'designed' with fully functioning male and female organs when he was conceived, and how he worries at revealing this to Jim.
 
Does that sound like something anyone else recognise?
