Lost fic: Kirk-centric, post Tarsus IV

startrekficfinderWhat I remember from this fic was that after Tarsus IV, Jim was taken care of a bit by a Vulcan (I don't think it was Sarek) who he ended up being quite close to, even viewing him as a father figure. Many years later Jim had to go to his funeral and as they were reading off the will, said Vulcan ended up giving something really big to Jim and he just stood up and started swearing like crazy because he either didn't want it or it was somehow rather revealing about something Jim wanted to keep secret, but I can't recall for sure. Language and Vulcan culture were also big themes in this fic.
