Incomplete Chess Fic

I am actually looking for a WIP that i wrote a few years ago. I was writing it anonymously and when my computer crashed I couldn't find it again. I honestly have no idea where it is and really want to finish it. I remember seeing it on the kink meme Delicious account once.

Basically it covered how Kirk first learned chess when he was a delinquent in Iowa, and how he attributes each member of his bridge crew to certain chess pieces. There was a chapter that I distinctly remember where one of the redshirts was impaled by a carnivorous plant and while trying to save him, Kirk burned his hands on the digestive enzymes that the plant injected into the man.

Please help!

I don't know the where abouts of your story, but I hope it is found because it sounds really good. Good luck and I'll keep an eye out for it. Could you please post it here if it is located so we can all enjoy it.
