Reboot Epic Recs

Hello, I am new to this community and I couldn't find anything saying this is against the rules so I hope it's okay.

I am new to the Star Trek fandom, and am looking for 'epic' recs. I am mainly interested in reboot fics, as I have only just started to watch TOS.

I would like long, potty fics with a bit of everything. Action, adventure, romance etc, but I'm not picky. I would also like recs for the 'big name fics' in this fandom, the ones that everyone has read, for example.

Kirk-centric fics would be amazing, but again I am not picky.

I would prefer Kirk/Spock slash if there is romance but I will take any pairing but Kirk/McCoy.

My favorite Kirk/Spock epic fics:
The Illogical series by waldorph - If Kirk was a maths genius, and never took Pike up on the dare to do better, but still managed to get to Starfleet? This is what that would look like. / With podfic by 2naonh3_cl2! And also avaiable in e-book form (part 1 to 22) - OMG, each part is from a different POV and paints a little more complex story every time... Such an engrossing series! ♥
Only Good for Legends by leupagus - What if Spock had become a police detective on Earth rather than joining Starfleet? (Also featuring Spock/Uhura) - Such a fascinating AU!
So Wise We Grow by captanddeastar - “Commander Spock, we have located your son,” the Vulcan lady on the screen says, which would be great, except Jim can tell by the look on Spock’s face that he’s never heard of this kid before in his life. “If it is expedient, the child will be sent to join you on the Enterprise within the week.”

I second Atlas so hard 'cause it's genius. Also, for the AU inclined, Keira Marcos' (http://keiramarcos.com/star-trek/tangled-destinies-ks/) Tangled Destinies series. Teenage Spock moves to Earth and begins an Epic Destiny with a Jim Kirk being raised by Pike. The epicness defies description.

You must read Atlas (http://archiveofourown.org/works/652116/chapters/1187249)! It's not only my favourite fic in Star Trek fandom, it's my favourite fic ever. Slow-building Kirk/Spock romance and friendship from Spock's point of view, but it's VERY MUCH a Kirk-centric fic.

Seconding every single fic already recced, but here's a boss of a fic. It's a WIP by Lanaea on Fanfiction.Net, Idek if it's ever going to finish - she promises though, so I'll keep my fingers crossed. It's KS and it's breathtakingly good. It's Kirk centric, and so ridiculously IC I could cry. It's called 'Home (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5071703/1/Home)'. Such a stupidly good fic it makes me UGH IN FRUSTRATION. But yes.

And speaking of waldorph, another great epic by hers is "Strike Seek Find Yield", part of a series called "Spoctoria" you can find here: http://archiveofourown.org/series/5176 The fic is based on the movie "The Young Victoria" - Spock is the heir to the Federation throne, Kirk becomes his consort, and it's a really terrific romance.

Another great one is "The Ties that Bind" bu beederific: http://archiveofourown.org/works/561134 - it features some of the bridge crew being held as marital captives on some wacked=out planet; I really love the Jim/Spock relationship that develops.

This was the fic that made me cry. It is one of my favourite fics out there. It's all about Jim Kirk life leading to up to become Captain then overcoming his past with the help of some people along the way.
