lost fic

I read a story a while back where it was written from child¡spocks where he was on Tarsus and met child Jim . He was part of the tarsus massacre and when they were found Sarek and amanda raised them together. Helppppppp please.

Is it Father to Men (http://www.trekiverse.org/archive/2000/story/tos/FatherToTheMan) by Frankie Jackson, was written around 1997 or something? I came across it a while back in .txt format but it's readable and is probably that format cause it was spread before livejournal or your own sites became how you spread fics and so on. Spock and his family are on a ship that is diverted from what they were doing before to help out after Tarsus and they meet Jim.

I love that fic, it's really good. That said I don't think Sarek and Amanda end up raising him and I'm not sure if you mean Spock went through the horrors of Tarsus alongside Jim or not. So this may be a different fic but still worth reading.

Hm that's not it. But FTM is a great read. I've got it saved on my computer. Thanks though. I can't believe I didn't bookmark it because I loved it soooo much..
