startrekficfinderHi, I was wondering if anyone knew any good fic where Spock dies or is captured, and Jim has to deal with it? It doesn't matter if it was Jim's fault or a transporter accident or whatever, I just want some Jim angst, 'cause we all know Jim never angsts as much as when a crewmember is missing/captured/dead. Can be TOS or nutrek. Happy or sad endings, doesn't matter. Any rating is fine.

The Preserver (http://archiveofourown.org/works/159017) by BigMamaG, where Spock actually is killed, and Kirk is utterly devastated. Add into that a slightly suicidal Spock!Prime, and it's an angst-a-palooza. But I swear, it all works out in the end, with bonus Kirk!Prime.
