Kirk with Wings

I am looking for a fan fiction where Kirk has wings. I remember a scene where he sleeps sitting up on a bed across from an injured pike with his wings up and using his feet for balance like a guarding Angel. In the fight with Spock on the bridge some of the bones in his wings were broken. And when they got down to earth after defeating Nero Kirk was pushing pike wings spread as a warning. Does any of this sound familiar?
