Osiris myth?

So I just read the amazing Sviksu by jAnon, and am now wondering if anyone's written a story based on the Osiris myth? I guess I'm in an ancient Egypt mood. Actually, any fic inspired by any cultural myth would be wonderful to read - I love seeing those reimagined by fandom. Can anyone make any recs?

I'm more into Kirk/Spock, but will take any pairing, any rating, AOS or TOS.

There's a really good fic where Kirk is accidently left in roman times and learns that Roman Gods are actually representations of humans psy-abilities, which were wiped out in humans by the coming of christianity. Spock is trying to find Kirk and also dealing with his own issues and trying to placate two groups with opposing religious views on the ship. I have no idea at all where I read it, other than it was on a forum style site. Hopefully someone else will remember where it is???
