Two McCoy Centric AUs

Hi. I've been googling up a storm, but have been unable to find what I'm looking for and would love help. These are two reboot AUs.

1) A post-Narada AU where McCoy is sanctioned for his actions (maybe it was because he smuggled Kirk aboard) and was not made a member of the Enterprise crew initially. Perhaps later in the story he did join the crew, but I'm not positive about that fact. I think it may have been Kirk/McCoy.

2) A (tame) mirror-verse fic about Christmas, where McCoy tells Kirk, his roommate, about the holiday. In the story Christianity was less of a religion than a philosophy and was not uncommon among medical practitioners.

Thanks! Unfortunately that wasn't what I was looking for (though it is fantastic and I actually reread it this evening after unearthing this during the search).

In this story McCoy was in trouble for his actions during Narada and for that reason wasn't allowed to join the Enterprise. I don't remember any Joanna in it at all.

I immediately thought of Until We Meet Again (http://claudia-nic.livejournal.com/8693.html) by claudia_nic. It's the one where Bones is posted to another ship, and through his comms/letters to Jim, they realize that they love each other. They meet up again at a natural disaster on a planet.

Unfortunately, that link won't work because she has friend-locked all her fics. Good news is that you can friend her to get access.
