angsty, established relationship, fighting mckirk fic

I read a fic somewhere (I think ao3 but I can't be sure) where Jim and McCoy were a couple and they got into a fight. I believe this took place at the academy. They were fighting and McCoy walked out to go to class or something and when he came back Jim was under the covers and McCoy thought he was asleep. He left again for his clinic shift I think and when he returned Jim was still there and McCoy realized something was wrong and they made up. I want to say this was a mirrorverse fic, but if it was it didn't read like mirrorverse. I'm going crazy so any help you can provide would be much appreciated!

That's not it, although I have read it and it's fantastic. The fic I'm looking for is much shorter and I think maybea one-shot. Thank you though!
