Fate of the phoenix fix-it, or story with the Romulan commander

I've just finished to read The price of the phoenix, and Fate of the phoenix and to be honest, it's two books that fanfics' readers about TOS universe would love: slashy, so much subtext, Spock naked and Kirk putting healing foam all over this body... And James, Kirk double, and the  Romulan Commander of "The Enterprise Incident" form a lovely pairing, full of parallels with Kirk/SPock.

 Now, i'm in withdrawal, and i'm searching for fics about the these two. I've little hope that it exist, but.... does someone know something about them ??

I don't know of any fanfiction for them, but I will have to check my boxes of Star Trek novels next time I'm at the place I store them to see if I have them.

A, Sondra Marshak and Myrna Culbreath! You know they were fanfic slashers and BNFs before they got hired to write tie-in novels, on the condition that they get rid of the "gay" stuff. Er. Well, they sorta did? Only nobody at the publisher was paying enough attention to spot all the things they managed to slip through. The authors who came after them--many of whom were also fanfic BNFs--were not able to slip so much through, but the eighties and early 90s classic Trek fics are awesome even so. They were definitely written out of love, you know? With lots of fanfic tropes.

Since those two novels are basically classic zine-era fic, the place I'd start for similar fic is in some of the archives that include old zine-era fic, of which the two best bets for slash would be the ksarchive.com/ and trekiverse.org. Also, The New Voyages and The New Voyages 2 are published volumes of fanfic from that era.

If you're specifically looking for James and the Romulan Commander, I'm not aware of any fic about them. The best place to get it would be prompting them if treknovelfest.dreamwidth.org does another round.

No, i didn't know, but i can't say i'm really surprised ^^ I find that awesome.

Thank you for the ideas of place to search, even if i don't find what i'm searching for, it seems full of intersting fics. And i've The New Voyages,it's in my box 'Books i will read one day' i'm really curious to read it, now, it'll probably be the next.
