Although Fourteen Days of Shitty Coffee (http://archiveofourown.org/works/821413) is more of a Nyota-centric post-STID piece, IMO it has a lot of Jim & Uhura BFFs.
Command Decisions (http://archiveofourown.org/works/40237) is another from igrockspock, short but good.

Jim asks Uhura to teach him to an alien dance. They're not as friendly yet as they were portrayed in Into Darkness, but this felt like it would work perfectly for the time between the movies where Uhura's still in the process of warming up to Jim.
