After reading once bitten and Searching for Everything

i have develop a taste for stories where spock long to meld / bond because he was deprive from it before or because he is afraid he would never have it or being rejected (thinking is mind being not desirable)


2- stories on spock loneliness (with a good ending please :)

1. As for craving for a meld, I remembered this First Contact by triedunture (http://archiveofourown.org/works/1024006) It's AU where Terrans are not allowed to Starfleet, so Jim becomes a pirate instead to find Spock whom he met when they were children. Spock, on his part, was searching for Jim too, after they spontaneously bonded as children. He didn't enter VSA and was disowned by Sarek because he chose Starfleet. Time passed and when Spock and Jim finally met, Jim was suspicious of any mind connection, while Spock was yearning for it.

2. Loneliness. Two beautiful things:
The Priest and the Captain by Cyberrat (http://archiveofourown.org/works/839878/chapters/1600691) AU Spock became a Vulcan priest in a small temple after suffering a severe breakdown as a result of T'Pring breaking a preliminary bond with him. Jim meets Spock during his mission on Vulcan and realizes that Spock is wasting his life as a priest and tries to persuade him to join Starfleet.

Shadow of a Dragon by yeaka (http://archiveofourown.org/works/1153783/chapters/2339701) AU Jim is a repeated offender and the Vulcan Empire finds a way to tackle him. He is captured and brought as a sacrifice to Sarek's illegitimate son, who has been kept in a cave for his whole life away from prying eyes.
